This seems suspicious and I saw a similar headline yesterday. How would this piece of shit, MTG, do an about face all of a sudden?
To me it looks like the Epstein scandal gives her a plausible way to transition to a presidential bid for 2028.

She just hates the Jewish Space Lasers™ even more than she hates the libs
She is now talking about women’s issues, worker’s issues, leaving the GOP, and calling the genocide in Gaza a genocide. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I see hope for her.
The MAGA mindset comes to people who become contrarian. They accept the first narrative that counters the established narrative. Maybe the MAGA movement has gained so much acceptance that she is now finding left-wing views more contrarian than her old views. Maybe this is copium? Guess we’ll see.

i’m going with “she’s actually that stupid”. There’s only two ways to be a woman in the GOP, and everything i’ve seen tells me she is just the stupid kind.
A “brainwashed smart conman” is not necessarily a contradiction, they make for some of the best preaching puppets out there.
She’s just doing the typical right wing thing of reacting now that she’s directly affected. It’s the usual “why is this allowed to happen to me and who is no-one doing anything about it?!!”
It’s not a moment of clarity but a realisation that her privilege is under threat
