    No thanks. After the BC election I don’t think my mental health can handle watching another circus where people line up to vote away their rights.

    What I learned from living in the US during the previous 2 elections :

    There is no real upside to watching this closely. Like the comments on a Youtube video, for your own mental health just dont.

      The thing is, it’s not going to be settled by the end of the day, and you’re not going to be able to avoid hearing about it.

      I’m extremely interested, but during election day I’ve taken a very “holistic”(?) approach to following along.

        There will be no way to avoid it completely short of hiding in a cave all day. As for it being over… the results will most likely be known by days end, but since one side is committed to not accepting those results the next few weeks could be unprecedented.

          Well, unprecedented is a bit of a stretch. Since last time that party failed at a coup. I guess if they succeed this time, it’s unprecedented in the US.

    I think tonight I’m going to leave my phone in the other room and watch movies.

    Nothing will be decided tonight with how close the polling is.
