Surely there are debates on best pastrami in NY, but this is the one I tried when I visited. Mouth watering goodness!
I don’t understand American sandwiches, why even bother with the bread?

The bread around here adds to the whole

I lived close to Germany my whole life, I have huge standards
Brotchen(fuckin sp?) slaps. US sausages are worst off for not having that bread.
Brötchen?
And idk if it was on purpose, but I love the worst/wurst pun in there!Yes on both accounts lol
This is like a $30 sandwich from one of the most famous delis in the country. I would not describe this as a typical American sandwich.
You could easily split a single one of these sandwiches four ways and share some of their delicious side orders as well.
The bread isn’t a mere mechanical contrivance to keep your hands clean. The bread is chosen to pair with the pastrami.
You have a point but dude throwing everything in the fridge between two thinly sliced pieces of bread is amazingly delicious
Instructions unclear, eating milk carton sandwich
i mean if it’s got enough mustard
the bread is where you grip it.
At, this point, they have complety ignored a category of food altogether. Soo.
I came a little
Close your app and pull it back up. You’ll come a bunch the second time
Can confirm.
At this point why even bother with the bread?
the bread really ties the sandwich together.
That’s just like, uh, your opinion, man.
Shut the FUCK up, Donnie!

There is no debate with the pastrami. It is the best
I’m going to NY next week and really appreciate the reminder to go eat at Katz again. 🤤
Try some of their sour pickles while there too.
Had something like that in São Paulo, actually left me full.
25 bucks well spent. Love their pastrami. Reuben sandwich is also 🤤
God tier Who cares what the “Best” is? Go try them all
Oh man dude you’re making me want to take the train down
Are they still popular as ever? When I visited in 2016 I was super impressed by the throughput their kitchen maintains.

It’s great if you don’t mind paying $25 for a sandwich
Pastrami is one food I just can’t get to like no matter how I try it. Too damn salty for my taste, which is weird for me to say.
Fuckin gross, man.
