      The Rideau Canal not opening last year (and only partially opening for 3 days this year) is a dead canary as well.

      Canadian culture is heavily defined by the winter recreational activities we have. And as humanity slowly boils itself, we will see aspects of our Canadian culture being destroyed at the same time.
