Looking back… I don’t think it had a very pleasant time, she was an active one, but in the last 5 or 6 years she just couldn’t move like she wanted. The other dog in our family died, and she had been with the pug for years up until she was 14…
It makes me mad that the life of those dogs are basically mutilated to originally form to some white ladies needs for the dog to “look cute”. They really should genetically engineer pugs into having their faces back, because this is just cruel.

incredible! the ‘retro’ pug looks far more natural than the more common type, hopefully this trait can be more widespread.
