      This madlad made a chart comparing which files /codecs transcoded or Direct Played a few years ago. I finally found it again. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-nOzJkgEmo_wrU3zyUy21qW8vJ-Vo1j_z6GLhQBiTOQ/edit?usp=drivesdk Edit: That’s an old one, there was one updated with the Series consoles, but I can’t find it. The Series Plex update (which may work on the others as well) rarely transcode anyone.
