President Donald Trump says he is directing his government to reopen and expand Alcatraz, the notorious former prison on a California island that has been closed for more than 60 years.
Alcatraz is owned by the National Parks Service though, so I imagine it more directly hurts the federal government - hurting California is more of a secondary nature.
That revenue loss is the point. Lil Donnie loves to do anything he can to hurt California.
