    That’s unfortunate.

    It sucks they’re forcing these people when they seem to be in good faith trying to move forward, just without a lot of options.

    If I were the town I’d keep giving them 30d extensions as long as they’re moving forward with their building plan.

    But the neighbours seem to suck. I get that the RV isn’t pretty and they’re cutting down trees, but boo hoo, that’s their land and they should be able to make a home of it.

      Yup. That was pretty obvious when they called the cops on a Black man clearing brush on his own land.

        Yeah, especially saying it was a strange man with a machete when he lives there… That was actually putting him at risk, and I’m sure scary for him and the police.

      The situation definitely sucks. Dude is 85 ffs. Can’t stand these kinds of “policies” and rules. With that said, that’s no place for a house. If it flooded after a rainstorm no way it’s going to remain dry. Looks like a terrible plot for what he wants to do with it.
