      I may not agree with all his positions but he was at least a good dude and not a slimy crook

        I would say the “let people die” thing would make him not a good dude.

        There was also the whole “I didn’t know there was a bunch of white nationalist shit in my own newsletter l that I put my own name and signature on.”

          I once had a Ron Paul supporter threaten me with her leashed, pet monkey–she said it didn’t like people who didn’t support Ron Paul. The majority of those people were next-level loons.
