I wouldn’t say anyone would take it out on them. But I can imagine growing up and hating your own name. I sympathize because I hate my first and middle name equally.
It’s just an ugly name, too ethnic for my liking too. Nobody ever pronounces it properly, or I’m constantly correcting or spelling out my name. It’s a pain in the ass.

I just wish I had a neutral and easy name if not a cool one. I made it a point to give my kid a good name because of it. I was named after parent’s relatives who I never knew. I just hate my name.
