I really hate they don’t have a changelog on their GitHub repo, I never know where to go to see what’s new. I want nicknames so I don’t have to show people my number, though, I don’t care about group calls. :/
Yeah I dont use group call that much too but it will bring more people to Signal so that’s good news
Migration from legacy group to group v2 was the last biggest step necessary to have username, so now we can expect to have usenames in several weeks/month

The group call feature request has been very popular, more so since covid.
I know they’re “working” on usernames, unfortunately, signal isn’t very transparent with their roadmap, especially for an open source project.
