When IS it acceptable to talk about racism in Canada? I don’t agree with everything he says in the video, and there are some places where he ought to add some more context. But overall it seems like a pretty thorough and generally fair assessment.

IMO If you think racism isn’t a problem in Canada, you’re wrong. If you think it’ll go away by itself if we ignore it, you’re wrong. It’s too easy for people to pretend that Canada doesn’t have a significant problem with racism, but we punch way above our weight class in that category. Lauren Southern, Gavin McInnes, Stefan Molyneux, are some examples that come to mind.

This sounds a lot like what I said would be interesting a few weeks ago. EU membership doesn’t make sense for Canada, we’re too big, too different, and too far. But we do have similar values, so some sort of half in half out scenario could be attractive.
