It’s almost like chasing thoughtless, short-term profit gains is a horrible idea.

Why do I get the feeling that at some point in the future we are going to have a world war against the fascist US and Israel.

Makes sense. If someone is dumb enough to buy a Cybertruck then they’d be dumb enough to willingly drive it into a lake and destroy it.

Apple has their faults but they historically have supported their devices for significantly longer than most Android phone manufacturers. Like I said in my last message, some of the Android phones I had only ever received one OS update and it was usually for an outdated version anyway.

There are multiple reasons I moved from Android to iPhone but this was by far the biggest factor that motivated me to switch. I’ve never had a Samsung device but I’ve had years upon years of numerous other Android phones and the update support for all of them has been atrocious. I got used to receiving 1 single OS update if I was lucky and maybe a few years of security updates and that was it. The few updates they did get were usually at least a year behind the Android update cycle if not more, and then they really fell behind once support stopped.
Since then I’ve had several iPhones that I’ve owned and then sold second hand and they’ve all had constant OS and security updates the entire time. I don’t have strong feelings towards iPhones one way or another, but I can say for certain that it has never felt like my device has been abandoned.

Extremely. Their foreign interference campaigns are doing substantial damage to western democracy. They are an extremely hostile fascist nation.

“Neesh” which is the correct way to say it as far as I am concerned. It has Latin roots but the word “niche” is French and that is how they say it.

Genocidal, fascist fucks.

I really hope Albertans wake the fuck up for the next election.
Prepare to be incredibly disappointed.

Slop coding.

Alec from Technology Connections brought up a good point in recent video about EVs. He mentioned how Tesla owners are a special kind of EV driver and don’t actually care about EV technology or green(er) vehicles; they only care about their Tesla. I’d imagine this is part of that mindset. Tesla can do no wrong in their eyes, even if it goes against their normal morals and beliefs.

Nicest: TES. I’ve met some of the nicest people and some of my best friends in the TES community, especially back in my ESO days when I ran a large guild.
Meanest / Most toxic: Planetside 2. I considered Destiny 2 for this but Planetside 2’s community takes the cake. It’s an old game by this point and the only people left playing it are the seasoned, cranky vets that have been playing for thousands of hours and hate everything and have zero patience for anyone who dares try to learn the game. Death threats, harassment, stalking, TKing, etc is all a frequent occurrence. There used to be entire outfits (guilds/clans) of players that were dedicated to playing as dirty as possible or otherwise being huge assholes.

This. Hosting US forces is now a liability to the host country.

Nothing beats cold water after doing something physically intensive.
It did drop here a little bit. From around $2.20/L down to $2.10/L

As is Canadian tradition, these airports would eventually end up in the hands of American corporations and thus a key component of Canadian infrastructure would be foreign-owned.
History is a goddamn circle.

Lol. Lmao, even. Rofl, if you are so inclined.

So fucking tired of technofascists.

By quite a lot too. The kori bustard is the heaviest known flying animal at around 18kg or 40lbs.
Attending a Catholic funeral service for a religious family member. The strangeness hits a bit harder as an atheist trans person.
