This isn’t helpful, but I was actually really disappointed by the people aspect of workers and resources. There’s no agent model with people picking routes to their workplace or needs. They’re just another type of resource you shunt around with limited models of searching from transit stops.

But yeah as far as trains are concerned factorio does seem to be the best available.

The definition of transgender is anyone who identifies with a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth. It is therefore an umbrella term that includes nonbinary genders. Being transgender and transitioning are separate things.

That being said, when people are talking about “trans people” they often mean binary trans people (ie men and women), especially in the current political context.

It’s also not unheard of for some nonbinary people to be uncomfortable with calling themselves trans, presumably for the associations with binary trans people.

Edit: i should clarify, by this I mean transgender definitionally in the abstract. When talking about a specific person’s identity, it just comes down how they identify. If an enby doesn’t identify as trans for any reason, don’t call them trans.

It’s correlated with votes. Those that donate to a candidate are almost guaranteed to vote for them. Especially since it’s less money on average from more people.

If these are people who signed up to the party due to this campaign, it also shows he can build a movement.

Mars Horizon looks fun, thanks! Definitely more of a straight up KSP successor than a strategy game, but it might scratch the itch enough to save me a few hundred hours from trying Aurora.

I’m also new to this and have been using Mint for my server, since it’s what I am using for my desktop. I’m planning on testing out moving it to Debian. If I’m being honest, the real reason is because the logo is cooler.

It taught me to use home row touch typing. Before that I was fast enough at search and peck that I didn’t see the point of home row. But when you’re chit chatting in the heat of battle you don’t have time for that shit.

I don’t think the speed of the electrical impulse would change, but yes reaction time would. Perception is more about our brain processing signals than it is about the signals themselves. What you experience yourself as seeing is not the raw image going into your eyes. Slower processing means you’re also less likely to see, as in be aware of, details.

This is why tired driving is incredibly dangerous.

There’s a theory that dreams serve as a sort of simulation mechanism for our brain to think through how to respond to various potential situations. It argues that is why natural disaster nightmares are so prevalent, and why our dreams are so weird (monkey brain does not understand modern society).

Anyways, good for them, I’m glad their brain figured out what to do about hypothetical McWeird.

This is why we need propositional representation - without a system that allows viable alternatives to the lesser evil our country isn’t really a democracy.
