As for my experience, a year after the original post, I don’t get a screen with the choices I see below. I’m immediately dumped into the “posts” tab/panel. None of the tabs give any indication of a way to login. I get the join screen only after I try to go to my inbox. To me, this is a UX “surprise”, and then I got the screen below, and the “log in button” looks more like a label. Perhaps it’s my ADHD, but I did not even see it until I saw it raised here that this is a button. I’m glad I found this post.

I already have 30 G of music, lots of TV series and movies, and all my own pictures plus a bunch of interesting ones from the internet. I also have a bunch of ebooks covering various topics including software development tech, wilderness survival, and bushcraft/homestead tutorials. I’d say I already have everything I’d take from the internet.

I’ve never been one to rely on the internet being available. If something is important to me, I save it just in case. Periodically I review what I have and purge what no longer matters.

In the area of renewable energy, they seem to be doing very well. They are wreaking environmental havoc all over the world to get the raw materials, though. Just check out some of their mines in Africa, for example.
