*What makes a cardigan, Mr. Lebowski? *

Knowing almost nothing about knitting before I started this project, I spent many months trying to recreate the original as faithfully as possible. And you can try it yourself as well :)

CAVEAT: I am not a designer, the pattern is only available in one size, and it can be a pretty difficult knit at times.

BUT: it’s free, and I can answer questions if you try your hands at making it!

    Note to recommended amount of yarn: “I have ripped out and restarted this project so many times that I’ve had to discard yarn (mostly beige) that was too short or too damaged to use. I have no idea how much I discarded, but maybe one or two skeinsworth of yarn?”

    Wow that’s right on! I got myself a Pendleton and cheese from the compliments on it all the time.

    If I could follow up with “yeah I made it” I think my cheeks would burst from happiness. Great job, Dude!!
