Isn’t this literally the plot of The Matrix?

Same as it ever was.

Wasn’t it invented by John Kellogg to stop masturbation or something equally insane? Or was that corn flakes?

I downloaded it, just trying to figure out how to get it going on Android at this point. The website was easier to read than my current default at least.

Do you know of any fonts that would make that one dude’s replies with the thorn character actually legible? My glaucoma makes it a bitch to decipher so I tend to not even bother reading those replies.

So how do I get through one of these without a working camera?

For reference, that means the 486 has maybe as many transistors as the board that runs my 11-year-old 3D printer firmware, and that was considered something between the “absolute bare minimum” and “honestly kinda underpowered” at the time I bought it. The only thing that board does is run some loops that send basic signals to some stepper motor drivers, and some basic-ass “bang-bang” style heat control. The actual heavy lifting of organizing and sending the position controls line by line is done by a Raspberry Pi.

Chaotic stupid.

Honestly, the only parts that can’t be off the shelf are the nozzle, heat brake, heat sink, and some gears. So if you are halfway determined, buy whatever cheap-ass printer and swap their electronics to an Arduino mega with a stepper motor shield, like, that’s it, just plug and play your new control board in, flash whatever firmware and away you go. Hell, most of the super cheap ones are already just run on an Arduino clone of some sort.

What about trying to listen to 4’33"?

I bet it’s a tough time to be an Onion writer right now. How do you beat reality?

Man, I must be weirdly lucky or gentle with phones. Note 3, Note 9, and finally whatever the S25 Note equivalent is actually called, and the only reason I updated from the Note 9 is because it was outdated enough that apps started going “dude, you need something more modern.” Everything hardware wise still worked fine on it.

Either I’ve had weirdly good luck with Samsung, or I’m exceptionally gentle on phones. I expect 6 years minimum out of my Notes, and so far that’s held up.

There’s a reason I’m not looking at Windows for anything other than my main desktop anymore. My family used to run 4 or 5 Windows computers. Will likely be two moving forward, and would be zero if my wife and I didnt have programs that just do not have a Linux equivalent.

Wait, up to? Like, they don’t have a count? Are they sure they got them all?

It’s what the plants crave.
Well, I sent feedback on it, not that I’m expecting anything to come of it.
Does accuracy by volume work in coding?
