Edit: I get you though, I wouldn’t say I’m a regular enjoyer, I do enjoy the atmosphere and comradery on a local level but even that is soured by cringe toxicity, racism, sexism, violence and stupidity. The fans really ruin the idea of it for me.

My partner and I prefer to watch the women’s footy as its usually less dramatic, less toxic, less cheating, less corruption and the players seem to genuinely love their sport vs acting like overpaid man children. It’s definitely a different and better experience imo watching women’s footy over men’s.

Mens footy fans will tell you why it’s inferior blah blah blah but these people always seem to be reactionary misogynists so we don’t give their points any real weight.
