    Been wild seeing all these ‘independent’ hackers go after Russia. I really need to reevaluate that 2012 Snowden era

      In general hacking and disabling electrical infrastructure would be incredibly damaging to the attacked nation. Seeing as one of the goals of US foreign policy is the destabilization and possibly disintegration of Russia, creating blackouts could be a strategic option. I don’t say that to condone it, quite the opposite. I just see that as a possibility. There are other reports of one country accusing another of hacking into their power infrastructure every few years or so as well.
