The Ministry of Interior said Bashagha met a number of security institutions specialized in biometric identification and city monitoring systems. It said Bashagha discussed in Paris with a number of officials of security institutions specialized in biometric identification for security and civil purposes, opportunities for establishing partnerships between the Tripoli-based Ministry of Interior and these institutions to assist in the development of biometric systems to verify identity in a safe and smart way, by recognizing the face, fingerprints, and fingers without contact, as well as providing electronic panels for automated vehicles, equipped with the latest technologies, according to the highest international specifications.

MOI puts upgrading its security systems as a priority. For that we signed an MOU with @idemiaGroup to develop a safe biometric identification system using facial recognition, fingerprints & iris scan for security & civil use.

This will enable us to secure elections & rigging.
