Today’s game is Twilight Princess. I got into the Water Temple today. I have to say this is my favorite place so far. It’s isolated and secluded, and so fucking cozy. I like the ambiance. It’s cozy and the theme is very nice.

This central pillar area reminds me of Spirit Tracks in the tower of spirits, which by the way has an amazing theme.

The puzzle with the switches is an interesting idea though, with having to grab a hold on being an interesting idea. I do feel as if it slows down the pacing a little but it’s not too egregious

I got as far as this room before getting off. I know that’s not very far, but I struggled to figure out the puzzle with the bomb arrows so it took longer than I expected.

Anyways. I just wanted today to be a brief status update. It’s been slow continuing on with Twilight Princess. The world size feels hard to navigate at times and i forgot to take screenshots of it. I’d have more to talk about the world if I remembered to take pictures but for now this will work.

I ran out of water bombs, and couldn’t continue.

Had to warp out, ride to Kakariko and buy more… is there a vendor or a replenishable source of water bombs in the first rooms of this dungeon, or maybe in lake hylia somewhere?

I already looted the chest in the room with the metal carapace enemies.

I’m about the same place you are and I have to say that I’m really not enjoying this game.

I know I played it on GameCube. But this is the only Zelda game I don’t really have memories of maybe I didn’t enjoy it back then either.

I’m hoping that I start to get into it more after this third dungeon.

I’m inclined to agree with you I think. I’m split down the middle artistically. It has some beautiful songs and places, but I don’t care for the characters really.

With gameplay… it feels off. Like. The world is a size too big and it introduces ideas way too early

The at style is too dark and grim. I think they were influenced by all the hate wind washer received when people first saw the graphics style.

I’ll happily replay that Zelda. I kind of just want to see the game again, so maybe I’ll just watch a speed run instas of playing it.
