Recently watched Arrival again. Will probably watch one of the myriad new things on Netflix soon.

I just finished ‘97 Berserk anime. It was sooo good! Highly recommend but I should warn, there is lots of brutality in all senses of the word. I now want to read the manga very badly.

A more wholesome albeit obscure show is The Vision of Escaflowne. It’s an OG isekai. It has a good balance between story and action.

yup. any recommendations for spinoff media after I’m done with the prequels btw? (I don’t plan to watch the sequels)

          The Mandalorian

The Clone Wars (the old one done by the same guy who did Samurai Jack, but his name escapes me now)

The Clone Wars (the newer one from Disney, mainly a kids animation but picks up after the first season and has many great episodes, and covers the gap between prequel 1 and prequel 2)

          Rebels (followup to Prequel 3)

Rogue 1 (the only good Star Wars movie done by Disney)

If you like video games then I highly recommend Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2.

The Clone Wars definitely. And I think The Bad Batch afterward. Technically, all the Disney shows are good; it’s just the sequels that suck.

Ah, I meant did you enjoy it?

Equally, interesting to hear it’s on Netflix. I’ve not searched for a while but it was unavailable when I was binging it. There were 7 or 8 seasons out back then, but only 1–4 on Prime. Amazon would graciously let users pay for the remaining seasons, of course, but fuck that. I never picked it back up again. But I enjoyed most of what I saw.

Yeah it’s a good show for the most part, on Netflix you can get all 10 seasons.
