Ok this advice about ten years ago would be useful. Now it’s not worth individuals mining.
Oh for sure. Even before energy prices skyrocketed, mining cost more money than it made. I am still amazed crypto hasn’t collapsed completely quite yet. It should honestly be illegal for the most part.
Yeah when you see documentaries of the old days people would be mining entire bitcoins in a day, now they are getting tiny fractions. I think even mining farms aren’t making tons.
The whole Proof of Work system is really stupid. It made sense at the time but it’s not scalable. We should hopefully see it left behind completely in a few years.
